Duras
Duras, part of Sint-Truiden, has a rich history going back to the 11th century. Once an independent county, it became a fief of the County of Loon under the Prince-Bishopric of Liège in 1203.
Duras lies in the heart of Haspengouw, with beautiful walking and cycling routes through rolling countryside and orchards. A stone’s throw from Hoeve Duras you will find Het Vinne provincial park in Zoutleeuw and the start of several routes: ideal for exploring the region and enjoying a good meal afterwards.
